Here are some examples of bespoke programmes we have created for our clients:
In April 2016 we ran a three-day event for the top 20 leaders of Eli Lilly’s European and Canadian business. The nut to crack was how should the business respond to the software and tech revolution and what was the opportunity for them to invest in and partner with start up entrepreneurs to enhance outcomes for patients – and could the leadership get aligned behind a shared purpose.
“The three day experience in London which Wavelength co-designed with us was excellent and met all my expectations. It is a big deal for us to take top 20 leaders out of the business for so long so it has all to be designed and executed really well. Liam and his team delivered an inspiring and right on brief experience – mixing external stimulus and provocation – which aligned my team behind a clear plan of action.”
Andrew Hotchkiss, President Bio Medicines (Europe and Canada) who retained Wavelength for the work
In 2015 and again in 2016, we are partnering with the BBC to deliver BBC Engage, a series of 5 day long events spread across 12 months for a group of 60 rising leaders from across the entire portfolio of BBC activities. The themes of the days – which happen in BBC hubs in London, Cardiff and Salford – include “Creativity and Storytelling” and “Personal Purpose As A Leader”.
The Guardian News and Media Group: this global media business is undergoing radical change and facing existential threats as the digital media world mutates almost by the day. We have worked with the team overseeing the root and branch change in the business.
“Wavelength have really helped us get to grips with the challenges we face. Really timely and valuable intervention.”
Juliet Scott-Croxforth, Chief Delivery Officer and a member of the ExCo
Centrica asked us to create a leadership development programme for their senior team. The purpose was to not only develop the skills and insights of the participants, but also to build connectivity and trust amongst their ‘rising stars’. Themed around ‘Leadership and Innovation’, we demonstrated that inspiration and insight are more likely to be found outside of HQ, in places you might not expect – and took them from Brixton to NASA in Houston. The process concluded with idea pitches to the CEO and the board. As a direct result a £10m investment fund called Ignite was launched, with a focus on energy.
“Wavelength put together an amazing programme. A truly life-changing experience”
