Sam believes young people have the power and potential to change the world, and that business should be the driving force to empower them to do it. Sam has spent the last 20 years proving the unlikeliest collaborations between brands and bright young people on the edges of society result in real innovation. From helping Drug Dealers became entrepreneurs, supporting refugees graduate into United Nations Ambassadors to mentoring excluded teens to achieve their dreams of becoming TV presenters, all underpinned by the likes of Google, Unilever, PlayStation and Dyson, this is the transformation engine Sam runs called Livity.
In addition to helping the world’s leading brands understand that mattering counts more than marketing to a millennial audience, Sam has founded a number of other ventures that are all part of the reason he’s one of the UK’s most highly regarded and highly awarded Social Entrepreneurs.
Some-where to…. is the UK’s only space matching service for young creatives, utilising underused spaces across the county and transforming them into launch pads for thousands of early stage creative ventures.
Livity Africa is the NGO sister business operating across South Africa, engaging hundreds of thousands of township youth in programs ranging from digital skills to disrupting democracy backed by Rockerfeller, Gates and Google foundations.
Sam is writing his first book, a survival guide for the 21st century, based on 18th Century Pirates, history’s most effective rebels. Be More Pirate has been commissioned by Penguin Random House, for release in Autumn 2017. He is a compelling and passionate speaker who will be sure to leave an impact on the audience.
Sam started out running raves in car parks across south London, which led to him forming his first agency the Bafta winning Don’t Panic, still recognised as one of London’s most creative agencies 20 years after launch.

"Sam Conniff is a hugely engaging and thought provoking speaker who brings the subject of Purpose to life by challenging and inspiring both brands and people to reframe their roles to be better and do better. His contagious passion for his subject and his ability to tell a mighty fine story, mean that his audience are talking about his session long after it’s ended and this ability to generate such a strong debate about such an important issue is rare. I cannot recommend Sam as a speaker highly enough and if you get a chance to hear him talk then please make the effort to do so – he is business and life changing."
